Once your trip is built, you’ll see the full route, and you can tweak anything by simply chatting again. It’s planning, without the planning.
Itinerary Generation
Itinerary generation with New Roads is anything but generic. Our AI doesn’t just plot points on a map – it curates your entire journey around how you drive, what you drive, and why you’re getting behind the wheel in the first place. Starting with a blank canvas, we build each itinerary from scratch, factoring in your car, your driving style, your interests and your time. Vehicle Suitability Report
Not all roads suit all cars. That’s where the Suitability Report comes in – your trip’s built-in assurance that every mile is matched to your vehicle. Based on the car you’ve selected from your garage, New Roads analyses each planned route for key factors: road width, surface type, incline, turning space, and even clearance issues. Whether you’re in a low-slung coupe or a wide SUV, you’ll know exactly what to expect — before you set off. You can review your Suitability Report at any time and if it mentions roads that aren’t suitable then review their location and check they are on route, and if so, ask the chat to avoid this section of road.
Accommodation Booking
Where you stay should feel like part of the journey, not just a place to crash. That’s why New Roads makes it easy to find accommodation matched to your route. From countryside inns to modern design hotels, you’ll see handpicked places to stay along the way, all seamlessly built into your trip. Each stop is selected for its location and traveller reviews – so you’re never far from comfort, character, or convenience. Prefer something specific? Just ask the chat to adjust your stays, and the trip updates instantly. You can then book these locations by simply clicking the link and entering your details. Remember, if you change your hotel make sure you go back to the chat and ask it to update the trip otherwise the Google Map will start you in the wrong location.
Petrol Stations
A great road trip shouldn’t be interrupted by a low fuel light and a panic search. With New Roads, petrol stations on route are automatically shown in the Petrol tab — so you’ll always know where to fill up, without breaking the flow. It’ll show the brand of station, which fuels they sell and, where possible, todays prices. Whether you’re heading into the Highlands or just out for a weekend blast, your route includes well-placed, reliable fuel stops along the way. Just let the chat know which one you’d like to add, and your trip will update accordingly. Peace of mind, pumped straight into your plan.
Google Maps Route Export
Once your trip is built, navigation is as simple as clicking a tab. Every New Roads route can be viewed directly in Google Maps. The preview window in the App gives you full-screen access to your route with all the detail you’d expect – zoom, traffic layers, and the brilliant Street View tool for previewing the roads ahead. Want to check that sweeping B-road or see where the lay-by leads? Just drop into Street View and explore before you drive. When you’re ready to hit the road, click the Google Maps tab to export your trip instantly – ready to use in your phone or car’s nav system. It’s effortless, familiar, and totally road-ready.
Vehicle Garage
New Roads lets you build your own digital garage, adding every car you drive so each trip is tailored precisely to what you’re driving. Once added, the app automatically recognises key details like width, height, length, and, where available, ground clearance. This data is then matched to our route intelligence, so if a road’s too narrow, steep or rough for your car, you won’t be sent down it. Switch between vehicles easily and let the app do the thinking. Whether it’s a low-slung sports car or a high-riding estate, your drive will always fit your car. No guesswork. No stress. Just the right road.
