Founded by father-and-son duo Gary and Elliot, this family-run automotive café has quickly earned its place in the hearts of drivers, bikers, and motoring misfits across the South East.

Affectionately known as “Torque” by its loyal regulars, it’s the kind of place where the sound of an air-cooled engine draws a crowd before the smell of espresso does. There’s an undeniable energy here: a gentle hum of conversation, admiration, and curiosity. You come for the coffee, but stay for the people, and the machines they roll in with.

At New Roads, we’re all about creating hyper-personalised road trips that turn any journey into an experience worth remembering. So it’s only fitting that Torque, a space that celebrates movement, machinery, and community, becomes one of our official partners.
