Post Scramble run - Bicester Heritage to Caffeine & Machine, The Hill

Bicester Heritage to Caffeine & Machine, The Hill
This is a post-Scramble run designed to keep the day alive once Bicester Heritage winds down. The A4421 and A4095 ease you out cleanly, giving the group space to settle before the B4100 takes over, a road that flows just enough to stay engaging while keeping things relaxed and connected.Â
Through Aynho and out toward Edgehill, the route leans into classic Oxfordshire and Warwickshire B-road character. The surfaces are consistent, the corners well-sighted, and the pace naturally moderated by the villages and gentle undulations.
As the route opens slightly beyond Edgehill, the roads begin to stretch their legs just enough to re-engage the driver. The A4260 and surrounding lanes bring a touch more pace without breaking the flow, before the final sequence toward Kineton and the B4086 builds that sense of arrival. The convoy naturally tightens, the energy lifts, and the last few miles feel like a lead-in rather than a finish.
Rolling into Caffeine & Machine: The Hill, the drive does exactly what it should, it extends the day, keeps the energy alive, and keeps the smile on your face. Cars park up, conversations pick up, and the road becomes the story you carry into the evening. Open till 10pm there’s plenty of time to enjoy the last of the day.
